60 Night Comfort Trial

What is a mattress trial?

A mattress trial lets you test a mattress at home for a set period (up to 60 nights) to see if it suits you. Don’t like it? Exchange it.

Here’s how it works:

1. Beginning: You buy your Mattress that is covered by our 60 Day Comfort Night Trial.
2. Sleep on It: Test it at home for the full trial period (minimum 30 nights).
3. Decide: If it's not right for you, request an exchange after 30 days. (Starts from day of delivery)

  Mattress Trial Terms: Adjust, Settle, Exchange 

1. Adjustment Period: Sleep on the mattress for at least 30 days to allow fillings to settle and your body to adjust.
2. Exchange Window: After 30 days, if it's not right for you, request an exchange. The 60 day comfort trial begins from delivery of your mattress.
3. Exchange Process: After 30 days of use, email us with your reason for exchange and a clear photograph of the entire mattress.
4. We’ll assess the mattress to check for any visual issues or damage.
5.  If no damage is found, we’ll authorise an exchange. Exchanges must be for a mattress from the same brand and same size.
6. Your mattress must from day one be covered with a mattress protector to avoid any visual or physical damage.

Exchange Terms and Credit Notes

• Upgrading to a More Expensive Mattress: If you choose a higher-priced mattress, you'll need to pay the difference. Payment can be made via a secure link sent to your email, and the exchange mattress will only be dispatched after funds have cleared.

• Downgrading to a Cheaper Mattress: If the new mattress costs less, the difference will be refunded as a credit note. Credit notes can only be used on our website and for mattresses of the same brand. All credit notes are valid for 180 days from date of issue. Credit notes are emailed shortly after the delivery of your second mattress. 

• Credit Note Conditions: Credit notes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Will I have to pay an admin or collection charge for the mattress?

We will charge £89.99 for collection and handling before you receive your new exchanged mattress. You will pay this fee by a link that we will send to your email and funds will have to be received before the despatch of your new mattress. Thus fee cannot be refunded or waivered. 

How Often Can I Exchange?

You are allowed to exchange your mattress only once under the 60-day comfort trial.  

What Happens to Returned Mattresses in a Comfort Exchange?

At M4U, sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We are committed to minimizing the number of mattresses that end up in landfill.

Here's how we handle returned mattresses:

•   Never Re-Sold on M4U: Returned mattresses are not resold on our website.
•   Hygiene and Quality Checks: Each mattress undergoes strict checks and deep cleaning.

If they meet our standards, they are:

•   Donated to charities to support families in need.
•   Sent to Auction to be resold through second-hand or clearance outlets, giving them a new purpose.
   

Who Can Use the 60-Day Comfort Trial Service?

The 60-day comfort trial can only be claimed by the original purchaser who holds the contract with us.

Will Delivery Teams Collect and Deliver Mattresses to Your Room of Choice? 

No, all collections and deliveries are carried out at the doorstep only. Drivers may refuse to deliver or collect a mattress if access is unsafe or deemed unreasonable.

Can I Return My Mattress Without Packaging?

We understand that the original packaging may no longer be available before the 60-day trial ends. However, all returned mattresses must be fully covered in transparent packaging so the state of the mattress is visible and the packaging must be good enough to protect it from any potential damage. Any damage that occurs during transit will be the sole responsibility of the customer.

Can I Return the Mattress Myself?

No, all mattress returns must be arranged through our designated drivers or couriers.

Will the Exchanged Mattress Be Collected at the Same Time as the New One Is Delivered?

Yes, we will collect the exchanged mattress at the same time as delivering the new one.

Can I Fix the Delivery Time?

No, we cannot fix an exact delivery time. However, we will allocate a 4-hour time slot to help you plan your day.

Do Beds and Bedding Come with a Comfort Trial?

No, the comfort trial only applies to certain brands of mattresses.
